This fun filled horticulture workshop is designed to help individuals develop the skills needed to look after their own orchards and gardens. Participants will learn how to look after the soil, different types of soil, propagation, grafting, managing weeds and diseases.
The workshop is available to individuals who wish to attend a public workshop or to groups who want to make it a fun event.
The workshop is offered at no cost to participants and is scheduled on a monthly basis. The specific date is determined once the minimum number of participants has been reached.
Duration – 2 days; 9am – 2pm.
Cost – Zero Fees for New Zealand Citizens and Residents.
Venue – Flexible; Katikati, Waihi and Tauranga.
